Vectrus To Be Awarded 12-Month K-BOSSS Extension Through March 2020

The Army Contracting Command – Rock Island (ACC-RI) intends to award a modification to Vectrus System Corporation for Contract W52P1J-10-C-0062 (Kuwait Base Operation and Security Support Services (K-BOSSS)).

The U.S. Government (USG) intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The Period of Performance (PoP) for the extension would be 29 March 2019 to 28 March 2020, with an evaluated six-month option of 29 March 2020 through 28 September 2020.

The proposed modification will continue critical base operations support and security support services throughout the Kuwait area of responsibility (AOR) including forms, publications, and reproductive services; Army postal operations; operations; logistics; information management; public works; environmental services; medical administrative support; installation services; security services; fire services; and emergency services.

This notice is not a request for competitive proposals or quotations and the USG will not issue a solicitation for this action.

The Army Contracting Command – Rock Island (ACC-RI) intends to award a modification in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services, extending the existing contract W52P1J-10-C-0062. The award to Vectrus System Corporation (Vectrus) will satisfy Agency requirements. ACC-RI initially awarded a contract PoP for a base year plus four option periods.

During the follow-on source selection, the Senior Procurement Official approved a twelve-month extension in accordance with FAR clause 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services for period of 29 March 2019 through 28 March 2020 and a six-month option under J&A #18-117, through 28 September 2020.
