AAI Corp Awarded $15.4m for Airfield Force Protection in USAF Central Command AOR

AAI Corp., Hunt Valley, Maryland, has been awarded a $15,225,404 firm-fixed-price modification to previously awarded contract FA4890-19-C-0002 for the exercise of option one. This modification provides for force-protection efforts at airfields located within the U.S. Air Force Central Command’s area of responsibility, including a non-developmental contractor-owned and contractor-operated unmanned aerial system, intelligence, reconnaissance and surveillance solution to perform operational, engineering, and sustainment efforts necessary to effectively execute pre-deployment, deployment operations, post-deployment, and engineering support activities. Work will be performed at Bagram and Kandahar Airfields, Afghanistan, and is expected to be complete by March 2020.

AAI Corp Awarded $114m for Unmanned Aircraft Systems ISR Services in Afghanistan & Jordan

U.S. Air Force Central Command has awarded AAI Corporation $114m to provide 24-hour per day, seven (7)-days per week (24/7) availability of Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) services at airfields in Afghanistan and Jordan. AAI is responsible for providing air vehicles, imagery equipment, system support equipment, air vehicle fuel, labor, management, supervision, maintenance, tools, and vehicles necessary to perform the ISR service missions while deployed with government personnel in support of U.S. Air Force operations in Afghanistan and Jordan. Performance will consist of a 120-day phase-in period and five one-year option periods.

AAI Corp., Hunt Valley, Maryland, has been awarded a $12,759,179.04 firm-fixed price modification to contract FA4890-18-C-0005 for force protection efforts at airfields located within the Air Force Central Command’s area of responsibility. The contractor provides a non-developmental contractor-owned and contractor-operated unmanned aerial system, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) solution to perform operational, engineering, and sustainment efforts necessary to effectively execute pre-deployment, deployment operations, post-deployment, and engineering support activities. The contractor-owned, contractor-operated ISR solution is required to support ISR tasking occurring anytime. Work will be performed at Bagram Airfield and Kandahar Airfield, Afghanistan, and is expected to be completed by March 27, 2019.

AAI Corp Awarded $475m For Special Operations Unmanned Aircraft Support Services

AAI Corp., Hunt Valley, Maryland, was awarded an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for a maximum of $475,000,000 for mid-endurance unmanned aircraft systems intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance services at multiple locations worldwide. The contract includes a 54-month period of performance, with four 12-month ordering periods followed by one six-month ordering period. Estimated completion date is July 2022. The contract minimum amount is $150,000 and the contract maximum ceiling amount is $475,000,000 over the life of the contract.

Textron Systems Awarded $24m for AC-208 Afghan Logistics Support & Maintenance Training
