AAR Awarded $209m for Afghan Air Force C-130H Contractor Logistics Support

AAR Supply Chain Inc., doing business as AAR Defense Systems & Logistics has been awarded a $209,986,676 ceiling indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for C-130H contractor logistics support for the Afghanistan Air Force. This contract will provide the Afghanistan Air Force with full C-130H contractor logistics support to include maintenance and repair, as well as on the job training for local Afghan nationals. Work will be performed Kabul, Afghanistan, and is expected to be completed by Jan. 29, 2025.

AAR Airlift Group Awarded $34m for Rotary Wing Air Transport in Afghanistan

AAR Airlift Group Inc., Palm Bay, Florida, has been awarded a task order modification (HTC711-18-F-R029 P00005) on contract HTC711-17-D-R016 in the amount of $34,093,983. This modification provides continued support of NATO Air Command-Afghanistan/Combined Security Transition Command. The services provide dedicated rotary wing air transportation to move passengers, cargo, and human remains as well as perform casualty evacuation in support of the Afghan Air Force within the borders of the government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan. The option period of performance is from March 19, 2019, to March 18, 2020.

AAR Airlift Group Inc., Palm Bay, Florida (HTC711-17-D-R016, $158,659,780); Construction Helicopters Inc., doing business as CHI Aviation, Howell, Michigan (HTC711-17-D-R017, $153,972,615); and Columbia Helicopters, Aurora, Oregon (HTC711-17-D-R018, $172,187,683), have been awarded indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, fixed-price contracts to provide rotary wing airlift services, which support U.S. Central Command area of responsibility (USCENTCOM AOR). The total value of the rotary wing program through fiscal 2021 is $948,817,666. The contract is for rotary wing airlift support within USCENTCOM AOR. Base year performance is from May 3, 2017 to April 30, 2018, with an expected completion date of April 30, 2021, including options.

Two airlift companies have been awarded contracts for rotary wing aircraft, personnel, equipment, tools, material, maintenance and supervision necessary to perform passenger and cargo air transportation service. The first airline is Columbia Helicopters Inc., Aurora, Oregon, awarded an $11,080,848 modification (0002-36) to previously awarded contract HTC711-11-D-R021. The second airline is AAR Airlift Group Inc., Palm Bay, Florida, awarded a $10,370,572 modification (0001-44) to previously awarded contract HTC711-10-D-R026. Work will be performed in Afghanistan with an expected completion date of Mar. 31, 2017.

Work locations and funding will be determined with each order, with an estimated completion date of April 3, 2028.

Airlift Group, Berry Aviation & Erickson Helicopter Awarded AFRICOM Air Transport Contracts

Three companies have been awarded indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, fixed-price contracts to provide air transportation services in support of the U.S. Africa Command Area of Responsibility (AOR). Airlift Group, Palm Bay, Florida (HTC711-17-D-R007, $204,242,835); Berry Aviation Inc., San Marcos, Texas (HTC711-17-D-R008, $212,681,482); and Erickson Helicopter, Portland, Oregon (HTC711-17-D-R009, $101,151,156). The total cumulative face value of the program is $518,075,473. Work will be performed within the U.S. Africa Command AOR as specified on each task order, with an expected completion date of Jan. 31, 2018. Performance is from Feb. 1, 2017, to Jan. 31, 2018.

 

AAR Airlift Group Awarded Global Aviation Support Services (GASS) Contract
On September 1, 2016, the Department of State awarded AAR Airlift Group, Inc. the contract for the International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Global Aviation Support Services (GASS). The GASS contract ceiling, to include all related task orders is $10 billion.
