AECOM Awarded $15.2m for Unmanned Aircraft System Operations Center Support Worldwide
March 1, 2019
AECOM Management Services Inc., Germantown, Maryland, has been awarded a $15,220,522 modification (P00037) to previously awarded contract FA4890-16-C-0007 to exercise option year three. This modification provides program support for Air Combat Command’s Unmanned Aircraft System Operations Center Support, providing the warfighter long endurance, real time reconnaissance and surveillance, and precision attack against fixed and time critical targets. This modification brings the total cumulative value of the contract to $122,362,588. Work will be performed at multiple locations worldwide and is expected to be complete by March 31, 2020.

State Department Awards 11 Companies $6B for Diplomatic Platform Support Services Worldwide

The U.S. Department of State awarded 11 Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Contracts, for the Diplomatic Platform Support Services (DiPSS) support services to provide a full range of services for Life Support Services, Logistics Services (LSS&L), and Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to DoS and other U.S. Government agencies under Chief of Mission Authority and, under special circumstances, non-Chief of Mission activities across the globe. Each IDIQ contract Ordering Period will be an initial one-year ordering period and options for four additional one year ordering periods. The ceiling price for DiPSS contracts is $6,000,000,000.00 and is a cumulative ceiling for all contracts awarded from Request for Proposal (RFP) SAQMMA16R0106.

The scope of work requires the Contractor to provide Program Management, Procurement of Critical Items, Life Support Services, Logistics Services, Operation and Maintenance Services, Construction and Renovation Projects to U.S. Department of State facilities, and other U.S. Government facilities overseas. The work to be acquired under this solicitation is for logistical service, life & mission support services, and all other operation & maintenance services at various government installations located in any country where the U.S. Department of State has a presence, with a focus on high threat contingency environments.

Types of projects may include, but are not limited to: food service, maintenance/repair of facilities, full spectrum operations of man camps, sewage and plumbing operations of facilities, leasing properties, refurbishing properties to include upgrading to meet high security requirements, laboratories, dining facilities and related structures, travel services for personnel, to include insurance. The basic contract period of performance will be for 12 months. Each contract contains nine (9) 12-month options for a maximum period of performance of ten years for each contract. The estimated maximum dollar value for all contracts combined, including the base year and all options, is $10,000,000,000. The estimated maximum value may be divided up among contract awardees.

4 Companies Awarded $86m for Global Contingency Construction Projects Worldwide

CH2M Hill Constructors Inc. (N62470-13-D-6019); Environmental Chemical Corp. (N62470-13-D-6020); Kellogg, Brown & Root Services Inc. (N62470-13-D-6021); and URS Group Inc. (N62470-13-D-6022), were awarded an $86,000,000 modification to increase the maximum dollar value of an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, multiple award contract for global contingency construction projects worldwide. The construction and related engineering services would respond to natural disasters humanitarian assistance conflict, or projects with similar characteristics. Work will be predominately construction. The contractor, in support of the construction effort, may be required to provide initial base operating support services, which will be incidental to construction efforts. After award of this modification, the total cumulative contract value will be $886,000,000. Work will be performed worldwide and the term of the contract is not to exceed 68 months with an expected completion date of February 2019.

The work to be performed provides for repairs to runway consisting of full depth patching and overlay to allow required airfield operations. URS Federal Services Awarded Up To $961M For Remotely Piloted Aircraft Support Worldwide

URS Federal Services has been awarded a single award indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (ID/IQ) contract FA489018D0002 for the Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPA) Operations and Maintenance Support. The program supports Air Combat Command (ACC), the Air National Guard, and other major command and combatant command customers to sustain the combat and training capability at tasked locations worldwide. The total cumulative face value of task orders to be awarded in the base year (FY18) is $51,713,200 (est.).

The Contractor will provide a high level of MQ-1, MQ-9, and RQ-4 organizational-level (O-level) maintenance and qualified Launch and Recovery Element (LRE) pilot and sensor operator aircrew support for MQ-1 Predator and MQ-9 Reaper Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPA) weapons systems to sustain the combat and training capability at tasked locations worldwide. Support shall include aircraft maintenance management; Aerospace Ground Equipment and Ground Support Equipment maintenance; supply support; Command, Control, Communications, Computer, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Systems; Quality Assurance, Quality Control; and ancillary support programs.
